Since 2008 Part Of Your Lie delivers solid and diversified metal. Instead of restricting itself to conventions of any particular subgenre the Berlin based quintet draws its ideas from a wide variety of influences, ranging from late seventies Hard Rock to modern, progressive Metal.
Nevertheless the band follows its own musical ideals, in which musical depth and catchiness of the composition are more important than the mere reproduction of common metal stereotypes.
Most remarkably in Part Of Your Lie's music are the dominant, melodic vocals of lead singer Ulrich Siebert that are not only a highly valuable factor of recognition, but clearly stand out against today’s trends in heavy music. His powerful voice combined with the intriguing guitar work and the tight rhythm section creates Part Of Your Lie's unique sound.
