Oliver Benz was born in Schaffhausen (Switzerland) in the autumn of 1978. He discovered his love for music at an early age and convinced his parents to buy him a piano when he was 8 years old. He founded his first school band at the age of 13 after he’d seen the “Freddy Mercury Tribute”-Concert in 1992 on TV. He left Schaffhausen High School in 1999 with a general qualification for University entrance.
