fuck Lastfm as well for half my scrobbles being '& the Bad Seeds' and the other half being 'and the Bad Seeds' and an inability to merge them. When is someone gonna invest in making this site more user friendly?

Спасибо, дед, удружил новым релизом. Понятно, что моральное право есть кручиниться хоть до конца жизни, но хотелось какой-то просвет, и он получен. Просвет != полное избавление от анального рабства Уоррена Эллиса, конечно (опять этот подвывающий, уже мемный бэквокал бородача), но в небольших дозах терпимо и даже уместно. Живём!

Не, ну много чего хорошего без бородача тоже бы не было, я очень уважаемый мной Push the Sky Away считаю во многом бородатой заслугой, но кто ж тогда знал, куда дело двинет. Но да, все же есть ощущение, что когда на Кейва влияло несколько центров тяжести музыкально (тот же Харви-Бликса и бородач с конца 90-х), было побаланснее. Но судя по видосам со всяких making of... и фильмам, им еще чисто как двум бро комфортно вместе и они понимают друг друга с полуслова. Так что, думаю, только если каких-то жестких потрясений эстетического плана не будет (биографических уже хватило), то так и окуклится с ним, скорее всего. Иронично, что Кейв со Сьюзи познакомился примерно тогда же, когда и с бородачом, и оба с конца 90-х с ним закрепились, а остальные так или иначе отсеялись или перешли на второй план. P.S. Саундтреки их, кстати, преимущественно не люблю, кроме того, что к Джесси Джеймсу доминиковскому, тот роскошный.

New Nick Cave, Wild God (appropriately titled, I'm sure), out August 30th! Very excited for the album, especially after Nick stating that "The records rather reflect back the emotional state of the writers and musicians who played them. Listening to this, I don’t know, it seems we’re happy." That man so deserves to be happy, I'm so glad to hear he's doing better after the roughness of the past decade or so.
