Formed 1986 in Dresden, East Germany, by ex-members of the underground bands PARANOIA and SUIZID. They tried to find a legal way to play Punkrock under the difficult political circumstances in those days. KALTFRONT played a lot of shows in East Germany and recorded a couple of demo tapes, but couldn’t realize any records in this period. In the confusion of 1989, the year of change, two members left the country and then the band began to break apart. Their last show was opening for Die Toten Hosen in April 1990.
