Walking into Club Dada I felt as if I were somewhere new yet familiar at the same time. The bar was small and inviting, a perfect stage for Panic is Perfect, a San Francisco band eager to show their presence and sound to the Lone Star State. From their opening known songs like, GO GO GO and Build a Wall, long intense connections with their audience, and catchy dance-to tracks, Panic is Perfect left a lasting impression on everyone who attended.
This was a great gear up for the headliner, K.Flay. Known for her melodious indie ballads and cohesive fast rapping, K.Flay brought a sensual and sultry approach to her set. Playing loved tracks such as The Cops and Make Me Fade K.Flay didn't disappoint with new tracks from Life as a Dog. I personally enjoyed Wishing It Was You from that part of her set.
Both bands sold their merch after the show, which I find refreshing. Being able to meet these artists was an honor. Life long fan to both of these.
