Biografie
Jordan Reyne is one of New Zealand's most acclaimed experimental musicians. Hailed by New Zealand's National Radio as the pioneer of a new sound, Jordans music has been variously described as "industrial folk" and "Antipodean Steampunk". Imagine a 19th Century Nine Inch Nails combined with Dead Can Dance and Sinead Oconnor thrown in.
Jordan has been nominated three times for a New Zealand Music Award and released five CDs, several of which were funded or commissioned by Creative New Zealand, the New Zealand arts council. Between 1999 and 2005 she released two albums under the moniker "Dr Kevorkian & the Suicide Machine", which first gained her attention and a following internationally in the darkwave music scene.
Jordan now lives in Hamburg, Germany where she performs both live (including shows in London and Hamburg) and online.
