People need to quit constantly slamming this band as poser slop. Ghost’s first 2 albums makes them miles better of an entry level metal band than Slipknot, Korn or SOAD. More original and musically interesting than NSBM or Deathcore fanboys who trash this band as well. I can actually see Ghost’s influences from classic bands I admire. My only complaint is Ghost’s wildly exaggerated image which clearly takes attention away from the music.

His top metal artists are nu metal. He has no business being the gatekeeper here. Because he himself listens to faux metal. I can clearly see who Ghost was influenced by. I’m sure he’s never heard Death SS, Pentagram or Mercyful Fate before.
