Das Pop is a Belgian popgroup founded in 1994 in Ghent by schoolfriends Reinhard Vanbergen, Niek Meul, Lieven Moors and Bent Van Looy. They were initially called "Things to come", but changed their name to Das Pop when Tom Kestens joined the band. In 1998, they won Belgium's influential HUMO's Rock Rally contest.

Tom Kestens and Lieven Moors later left the band, and in 2007 New Zealander Matt Eccles joined the band as the new drummer. In January 2008 Das Pop released Fool For Love on UK independent label Prestel Records. The release featured remixes from French DJ SebastiAn and Yuksek, and was called a "monumental new single from the Belgian electro band" in the Culture section of UK newspaper The Sunday Times.

In 2008 Das Pop toured extensively with other acts including Soulwax, The Feeling, Gossip, The Kills, Alphabeat and Justice. They also played at many festivals including Rockness, V Festival, Reading and Leeds, Pukkelpop as well as Lovebox and Glastonbury where they played three sets in one day across three different stages.

In 2010 the song Never Get Enough was featured in Gossip Girl episode Goodbye, Columbia.

Discography
Das Pop started out releasing records under the major indie record label PIAS Recordings, later switching labels several times. Under indie labels they released the albums I ♥ (2000) and The Human Thing (2003). In addition, they have released several Maxi-Singles (EPs), Electronica For Lovers (1999), Tonight (2000), You (2002) and You/Du (2004). These earlier works of Das Pop are not widely available.

The single "Underground" was first released in the UK under the record label Ugly Truth, but it was also released under RCA Records on 4 August 2008. "Try Again" was released on 24 November 2008 as a limited edition 7 inch single. Their next album, titled Das Pop, was released in autumn 2009, their first released in the UK. It was released worldwide under N.E.W.S, and was produced by David and Stephen Dewaele of Soulwax and "Never Get Enough" was the single that preceded it.
