Consider this: Coldplay for 10 years or so has been most popular band on last.fm (with the largest numbers of unique listeners), and now only 2 months after the release of their latest album, their unfamous collaboration with most beloved (by bots) group has passed their most famous song (by listenings) "Viva la Vida" (that had been here since 2008). And funnily enough all other (11) tracks by "Music of the Spheres" not have even 3 million scrobbles combined (at this moment). Moral of the Story: This is what you get, when you messed with BigoTS...

I really don't know what to think about this band nowadays. I used to love them up until Mylo Xyloto but with Mylo Xyloto they started to both lose their essence but also sound like all the other generic pop stuff on the radio. But even Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends wasn't that strong anymore but I did like the album concept and the main single Viva La Vida and Violet Hill. Ghost Stories was just weird and that was the point I gave up on the band. The following stuff wasn't much better but the Adventure Of A Lifetime single was nice. Everyday Life was interesting from a concept standpoint but the music itself was a bit meh at times. And then their latest output... Their worst output so far. It is the most average radio pop stuff that sounds like everything else nowadays, the only okay song to me was Coloratura. Such a shame. Loved their first 3 albums but after that it just went more and more downhill.

People wanna focus on songs like My Universe instead of paying attention to the genuinely good music they've released in recent years like the entirety of Everyday Life

Apart of the last album which isn't that good other than like two songs, I recommend BTS fans to listen to the first four albums of these guys, truly great and underrated melodic rock pieces.
