Why do Spotify insist on using English song titles for Hebe's songs? Or was that a choice of her record label? I don't like it. I want it to scorbble in the original language and accurately represent my listening stats. Now I have two different play counts for the same song. It's stupid.

Thai-Pop is from Thailand, Tai-Pop is a common term to describe Taiwanese Pop music. We all know Taiwan has a lot of problems to prove people their identity in the world, and in my opinion tagging them "Chinese" or "C-Pop" doesnt make it easier for 'em. Would you tag an American band as "English", because they actually sing in English? An US-Pop group as Britpop? As a German, I know how Austrian or Swiss people react, if I call them German. And don't say, you tag them Chinese because they sing in Chinese. I know many Taiwanese, Japanese and even German bands singing in English, but nobody tags them as English because they are simply not English. I have no interest in music from China, so I search for music tagged as "Taiwanese". With my group "Taiwanese Metal & Rock", I'm trying to give people a platform who are also interested and we are already more than 30 in last.fm! So don't call me ignorant.

"Tai-Pop?" Sounds like you're saying the music is from Thailand... Taiwnaese singers sing in Mandarin. It's Mandopop. And Mandarin is often called Chinese, because it basically is. And most Chinese music comes from Taiwan anyway so what's the problem? If it makes you feel better, I will tag the artist as "Mandopop" and "Taiwanese", but if you think that's somehow going to stop Chinese Mainland oppression of Taiwan I think you're mistaken. Peace.

'chinese', 'c-pop'... What's wrong with the tags? It's 'taiwanese' and 'tai-pop'. Fight oppression of Taiwan and other small countries. Stupid small-minded intolerant people...
