Verizon Theatre is an large indoor entertainment venue near Dallas, TX. Built by Anschutz Entertainment Group and first opened in 2002, the venue has formerly gone by the names “NextStage” and “Nokia Theater at Grand Prairie” before being rebranded to the current “Verizon Theatre” name in early 2010.

Guest capacity is just over 6300 seats, following a bowl-basin design to allow clear sightlines to the stage. As part of its flexible layout, chairs in the front central sections are removable to permit a standing-room-only pit for selected shows.

Conveniences include on-site pay parking, on-site ATMs, family restroom facilities, first aid station, wheelchair accessible seating & other disability services. There is no sit-down style restaurant on the property, but concession stands in the front lobby offer a variety of food & drink selections including alcohol for 21+ (with ID). Theatre is strictly non-smoking environment but with designated smoking areas at sides of venue.

Verizon Theatre is located in the municipality Grand Prairie, part of the greater Dallas metro area. From Dallas proper, take I-30 Tom Landry Hwy west toward Arlington/Ft. Worth, exit at Belt Line Road and follow signage north to the theatre. For guidance, it is immediately adjacent to QuikTrip Park baseball stadium and Lone Star Park horse racing track. It is also approximately 5 miles away from Six Flags Over Texas and Cowboys Stadium in Arlington to the west, and 12 miles away from downtown Dallas to the east.
