Metal Shaker is a heavy venue and bar on the Northwest side of Chicago. Past and current genres of music that have played here include everything from thrash, death, black, doom, down-tempo, and progressive metal along with grindcore, hardcore, crust, punk, and a wide variety of heavy noise.

The venue opened its doors in the Spring of ‘08, and has continually made changes since. The changes, along with the variety within the family of heavy music, make Metal Shaker very unique to the Midwest.
