The Twisted Branch Tea Bazaar is an international teahouse founded in 2002 by Tea Missionaries Matteus Frankovich and Ed Luce. We have two locations, one in downtown Charlottesville, one in downtown Staunton. The Tea Bazaar is inspired by travels to the far reaching tea countries. Inside you will find teak pillars and altar pieces imported from India. You can enjoy a view of the Downntown Mall from the Japanese Tatami area. The Tea Bazaar offers a rotating selection of teas from around the world and a full kitchen featuring home-made vegetarian cuisine and desserts. By day, the Tea Bazaar is a peaceful place to study or converse. When evening falls, the pace picks up and the Teahouse becomes one of Charlottesville’s most interesting performance venues.
