Almost a decade old, Creamfields is not only the original dance festival, but also the one which has most consistently stuck to its guns regardless of changing fads and trends.

Held over one packed August Bank Holiday day and night, the action unfolds over nine hosted arenas with local clubs Chibuku Shake Shake and GoodGreef both involved. However, the main draw is likely to be the the Main Stage, where five big hitting live acts perform throughout the day and evening.

Starting life nine years ago in the Matterly Bowl (since home to Homelands and Hi:Fi), Creamfields moved to Speke Airport in Liverpool just a year later and remained there until last year when it moved to its new base in just outside the city in rural Cheshire.
