Description

The Gorge is an amphitheatre that sits above the Columbia River Gorge in George, Washington. It can hold 20,000 concert-goers is known for its spacious lawn-seating and breath-taking views of the river. In 2004, Glide Magazine named The Gorge the top outdoor venue in the United States. It has on-site camping and the area’s summer weather is generally perfect outdoor concert weather. The annual Sasquatch! Music Festival, annual Christian music Creation Festival annual Dave Matthews Band stops and annual stop by the Vans Warped Tour bring fans from all over the country to hear music. Opened in 1985 and owned by the House of Blues, it has also been known as the Champs de Brionne Music Theater.
