Formerly Bricks nightclub, In the Venue is Salt Lake City’s all-ages venue for music from local techno DJs as well as nationally touring live acts. The club’s impressive sound system proves the emphasis here is on the music scene. The well-appointed bars please the adult drinking crowd. You are advised to leave your cameras and camera cell phones in your car as the club’s management have their bouncers badger concert-goers with threats of confiscation. You will be frisked. Weapons of course aren’t allowed but neither are items that may be perceived as weapons. Leave spiked and studded clothing at home also, or be willing to have it confiscated.
