House of Blues is located in the main casino of Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.

The Music Hall consists of three levels of viewing. The bottom floor, typical to most House of Blues venues, is standing room only. The second floor is a seated balcony in the shape of a horseshoe. The third level is standing room only, replicating the famous foundation room that lies atop the hotel.

There is a no flash photography policy. There is a coat check where you can leave your camera or recording device for $3 (price subject to change).

That's true, HOB is good for more laid back shows but if it's hardcore or metal... the security guards are big, beefy jerks with eyes like freakin' hawks! If they see too many limbs being controlled by the music, they'll zoom on your ass like delicious on a cracker.

This venue sucks for all rock hardcore shows. If your a band, please don't go here. They hardly let you dance and if you get caught throwing your arms or crowd surfing they will kick you out.
