Just finished TTGL... had an excessive session of it today. It certainly got more intruiging as it went on! At first I wasn't sure about the style and such but it did grow on me. And I see what you mean about the soundtrack - some of the pieces are quality! The opera/rap did work surprisingly well. Good shout on that :D

It annoyed me slightly that they had to spread the FFVII franchise over so many platforms in the expansion but I found an FAQ of the Ultimania guide a while back which clarified a fair bit of the new stuff. I've actually got the Dirge of Cerberus soundtrack but for some reason the game never appealed to me. Actually if you'd said that to me a while back I'd have agreed - but a few days ago I got my hands on Neon Genesis Evangelion and had an epic session (ie watching all 26 episodes) and then I just had to get the soundtrack! (Misato's theme is so good :P) But yeah I'd appreciate any recommendations you can give!

Yeah I might well do, I'd like to actually play Crisis Core before I listen to the soundtrack but as that doesn't seem too possible I'll try to get my hands on it soon. A bit of anything really, just to get a broader picture. I'm very open minded when it comes to music so sampling as many genres as I can isn't a bad thing!
