piterkeo "Backwards farmer dialect" LOL! Indeed many words we still use are considered obsolete in Standard German and stuff, but we talk that way at home all the time (usually mixed with Portuguese). I'm also fascinated by how languages evolve and I'm trying to develop an orthography for Riograndenser Hunsrückisch. There's already one proposed by a linguist, but based in Portuguese rather than German, and I find it the ugliest thing. I just can't accept the idea of writing xayne (for scheine), for example. And I'll take a look at Pennsylvanian ;-)

Hallo! So kommst du aus Hunsrück? Cool! =) Aber ich bin Brasilianer und ich spreche eine Variante des Hunsrücker, die heißt Riograndenser Hunsrückisch hier in Brasilien und wurde ein bisschen von Portugiesisch geändert. Sorry for my bad High German, aber ich spreche es noch nicht so gut... =/

i am happy that i'm not alone :D yeah, you're right...it depends on their previous albums, songs...they wanted to save their original sound. they did it, but album is not so good as i was waiting for.

amagicalunicorn apparently they will release Eros at some point, so we'll find out. Diamond Eyes is an amazing album i cant stop listening to it.
