Hi, thanks for your visit and, wow, I couldn't believe it when I saw how compatible we are on the singer/songwriter scale with Leonard Cohen, Phil Ochs, Al Stewart and Randy Newman all there, not to mention Bob Dylan! And your very political stance also made me certain you would be one of the rare people who would like the songs of my alter-ego Brokenjarafingers, especially the more political songs I write about things like Guantanamo Bay (The Stars Look Down), the credit crunch (Penury), the horror of English politics (Pig Society), the horror of US foreign politics (The Bloodlust of the West) and the Occupy solution (Sitting On The Steps Of St Paul's. Along with ballads in the Leonard Cohen/Dylan/Ochs when sad vein, they can be found on these sites: http://www.youtube.com/user/brokenjarafingers (check out New Versions first, most of the political songs there, hope you like them!) http://www.last.fm/music/BrokenJaraFingers (one complete album and one in progress)
