Live: Ostinato, Wrecketh, Ufajr

Sun 9 Sep – Ostinato, Wrecketh, Ufajr - 9.9.2007, Praha, Klub 007 Strahov
First band which started whole show was Ufajr. They're from Prague, they're young, they're talented. Their music is completely awesome. As they say, their influences in making are Muse, Mono, Sigur Rós or Radiohead. Even though they played so well, audience was not very large. Well, their fault :)
After them, Wrecketh started. An unknown band from NYC, which play some kind of metal blues-rock. When you mix ZZ Top with Metallica, you get something very similiar to them. Another big surprise to me (after Ufajr), so daaamn hard-hitting sound!! I thought that my ears were gonna fall off my head :) Daaamn hard sound, great show. It's shame, they're unknown and underrated. Well, hundred men, hundred tastes. But I had to buy their record! I'm their fan now :))
Ostinato were the last. I expected a very nice show, after reading reviews on their older appearance. The bassist and drummer played shoeless and their brought some wine. First few songs were from their second album (Left Too Far Behind), which is harder than Chasing The Form. But then started playing even from the latest album. The dreamy noisy sound was absolutely great. And when the guitarist took an empty beer bottle and started playing with it.. Maaan, I thought "Yeeeah, that's it. My brain's coming out!"
Awesome show, second show organised by Post-Rock.cz, great audience, awesome bands, cool atmosphere.
