Hmm. I guess I'll put some more info up. Do you use Spotify? You can hear Moddi's album on there. Or I could send you a link to download the album? Cheer for getting back to me. Mx

Music you have in common includes Ludovico Einaudi, Max Richter, Yann Tiersen, The Books and The American Dollar. I think you should consider coming to the gig I'm putting on in September. http://www.last.fm/event/1606662+Carefully+Planned+presents... xx

Wolf Parade was great. Really enjoyed it. Also, a very good manc crowd which was awesome. I've got some funds now, so looking to see if I can still get some tickets for GY!BE @ATP.

Oh cool, I've yet to see him myself so that might be worth keeping an eye out for :) Trust me, Manchester is a gold mine for good gigs in comparison to Lincoln. Which is half the reason why I started promoting gigs myself, in a vague attempt to make it a good place for live music. Very naive of me in any case haha! But anyway, definitely agree with you on the whole not selling alchohol thing. I've kind of really gone off drinking in general over the last few months, I had more than my fair share in the last couple of years so I'll take it easy and maybe one day my liver will thank me. Good do with more venues like that Arts Cafe in any case

Yeah, it's a quaint little venue. I wasn't sure about not selling alcohol but it kind of suits bands like calla and worriedaboutsatan. Saw them a day or two later in Leeds (in a church?!) where they played the whole of their new release, can't wait to get my hands on it! Kind of makes me wish I still lived in Manchester since there's so much going in terms of gigs...

that's my main gripe with the Academy too- and if you don't stand near the front then you can't hear the band because of people talking or else there is a pillar in the way. It was as good as it gets for that place.

About Me

Hmmm I guess I like a lot and all types of music as long as it is genuinely good then I'll listen to it and even love it. I guess the only genre I don't like is probably country.
