According to the site next week's will include New York Dolls, Morrissey, Little Boots, Annie Lennox, Lisa Hannigan and Asher Roth. Not as exciting as the Sonic Youth show sadly though I'm not complaining (beggars can't be choosers after all) New York Dolls should be awesome and I'm sure Morrissey will do what he does best, plus I do like Little Boots I thought her performances on the last series were pretty impressive so am curious as to how her new material shapes up.

It was a stroke of pure luck really, every once in a while I visit the Later site just to to check out forthcoming lineups and in the scant hope that tickets are available, of which to my dismay they are usually fully booked, however on this occasion the random draw to apply was open (saying that, I've tried that before which came to nothing) I was more that pleased to see an confimation in my inbox with printable eTickets attached this time and the emboldened DARK COLOURS ONLY dress code statement :) It was a total fluke so I would say keep trying, especially for the next series.

Oh yeah, speaking of Later... I managed to bag tickets for next week's show. None too shabby.

Once again, many thanks for the recommendation. Sparrow & The Workshop has been most enjoyable to my ears, damn lovely songs with a kind of weathered beauty which ticks all the right boxes in my book. Right up my street.

A pity. Yes I I did indeed watch it, Pleasing for the most part for obvious reasons, could have done without Lily Allen but you can't have everything I guess.

I bet it must be the happiest wall in the world. The other walls can only look on with a mixture of resentment, shame and admiration.
