Hmm.. my favourite songs from Boatmsn's Call would probably be "Where do we go now but nowhere", "West Country Girl" and "Are you the one that I've been waiting for". You are right that choosing a favourite Nick Cave album ins hard, they are all so veery different. I love "From Her To Eternity" too, which is really a contrast to the calm "Boatman's Call" but I really love the anger and sincerity of that record, It just feels so raw and so real... Yeah but most their albums are great... I never really liked the Grinderman albums though, but maybe I haven't given them enough time... He's got an amazing voice, hearing the audiobook really was a pleasure, the voice is even more capturing when he talks than when he sings.. You really should listen to it. Actually I've already heard the lecture like three time, haha, I love it :) I've got the 45min version of it from "Secret life of the love song & the flesh made word", where he presents it and sings couple of his love songs...

Indeed! Nick Cave is amazing! :) What's your favorite album? Mine is probably The Boatman's Call, it's just so beautifully depressing... sounds like early Leonard Cohen. I just listen to the audiobook of his novel "The Death of Bunny Monro", read by Nick himself. It was just brilliant, so sad and disturbing... I really recommend it!
