Why, 13 and god, Themselves: Never listened to any of them, but I have meant to. What do you suggest? Bone Machine has different and great stuff all throughout it, depending on what you want. I suggest the latter part of the CD, especially Black Wings, Murder In the Red Barn, and I Don't Want to Grow Up. Also, the first song (Earth Died Screaming) is a great intro into what the CD is all about. Enjoy!

Glad you dug Dungen, although I've not heard Malajube. Also, in regards to your recommendations, I've not heard {{{Sunset}}} or Le Volume Courbe, although anything involving Kevin Shields I'm sure I'll like. And I do quite like Black Mountain, saw them live at the start of the year which was pretty awesome.

And Ta Det Lugnt. You should definitely check it out, by a band called Dungen (who you may or may not have heard of). Any recommendations of amazing shit I may not have heard?

Listening to her now, I guess this woman's not a million miles away from St. Vincent, but then again I wouldn't say it was quite a zeitgeist, either. Certainly, the cod Billie Holiday sound is there in both... but 'ACTOR', imo, moves away from it, compared to the début, which I admit is overdependent on it. 'ACTOR' just has more eeriness and edge. Also, those are my paintings. Thangyew very much!

Genuinely curious - where have you heard music like St. Vincent's before?
