My name is Kristy, and no, that doesn't mean I'm the stereotypical Kristy of cheesy 80's flicks. I suck at guitar, but I have a decent singing voice. I'm a huge lyrics fan, probably why Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Tori Amos, and Elvis Costello are so high up on my list.
The reason my user name is vargas_girl is because my favorite pin-up artists is Alberto Vargas. Yes, I'm a straight female that probably has more pin-up art from the 50's and 60's than most men out there...and I'm proud of that:)
Is it weird that I like old school Soul as much as I love the punk of The Clash and The Dead Milkmen?
Jeff Buckley is my muse...he sings to my heart.
