hey, in re: At Home in Anger. Have to say that i agree with you. I think this is his least accessible piece of work. I've read in a couple of places that the tracks were recorded over a long span of time, from 2007 to 2011. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Hi Colin - thanks so much for the Bill Frisell link. I am looking fwd to seeing him when he comes to Toronto this summer. But I agree that the Lennon album is, surprisingly, not up to his usual standards.

Ha, indeed! I believe that I understand what you meant by the extended box sets being a tad questionable as a new release. Still, Silent Way remains quite high on the list of my favourite albums.

I can tell you what happened to them my friend.......I know 2 people that are friends of dego and mark and the story goes like this..... Both dego and mark fell out apparently....dego now lives in new york and mark is in luton...ive been told that they have sorted out their differences and are still officially 4hero, but things are not the same as before....dego is now only making broken beat, while mark still does some drum and bass and hip hop.........i actually saw dego in black market records in soho in december, so he obviously still comes to london. I guess we'll just have to listen to the old stuff as you said and just remember the good times:)

Hotel was £120 I think. Twin room I'll share with a friend. Forgot about Kode9 as well. Going to be tough to fit everything in!

Re: 'Rated X', yes, despite having heard many times, I'm a bit slow and only realised recently that the when it cuts to just Miles's organ are Macero, punching the other bits out, dance music/DJ mix-style. In 1974. Incredible.

Hey mate-it's a great cover isn't it-I'm afraid the album is a miss for me. I should have learnt by now not to just download an album because it's on Hyperdub. It's a melting pot of sounds and you might like a few tracks but I'd stram them first. Albums I'm enjoying right now are the Shanagaan Shake album-John Talabot & Goth-Trad. I see Neil Landstrumm has a new one coming out-have you heard any reports?
