mer30 aziz – In fact I came across it via a tweet earlier today. Most of his views/thoughts are pretty much spot on. Most fans have argued throughout the summer that a 3 man defence especially with how he sees it and with our current squad just does not work. The nearest he can get to it is a 3-4-1-2 formation. I’ll personally stick with 4 at a back though. Performance wise with 4 at the back last night’s defeat (albeit embarrassing) did not feel as bad as the Palermo game! Rough season ahead as it seems….

Mamnoon - did not know much of it but his support for the Zapatista rebels either. There is this guy who is currently translating his autobiography. Can't wait to read it ;-) ghorbanet

Mer30 - a friend is following Horncastle on tweeter he told me about this article. Amazing that after all these years I did not know the il capitano also suffered from the same growth problem as Messi! Shame about the tickets :( vali khob we will send as much positive energy as possible to the Pep's troops as possible ;-)

Sure aziz dark mikonam - anyway if you get hold of tickets then as ever you are more than welcome :-) LOL @ the "the guy pisses cologne" saying hehe. Having had the special one leading our men and now potentially also hiring the chosen one in the future I bet quite a few fans would feel a tad jealous hehe I too believe he is intelligent enough to adapt and do so fast elsewhere. Also thanks for the JR’s interview – funny how it took most of us years to find out where his sympathies lied. And then so early on he clearly says he is a Roma fan hehe If I recall correctly his wife who is Italian is a Roma fan. ghorbanet

Ettefaghan I was about to ask and see whether you have booked your london ticket or not? ;-) Kholase with or without a match ticket doost dashti inja bashi baraye final midooni inja khooneye khodete :-) As for the chosen one - generally I’m curious to see how he would cope in Serie A (elsewhere). I'm certainly with you on the 2012 at the earliest departure. Before the Roma takeover I would say we had the upper hand landing him - now I think it's 50-50 between us and Roma. It's hard to be fully objective here ;-)

The Abidal issue is obviously very saddening. I’m glad the surgery went well. Wish him a quick recovery – was very emotional being there and seeing everyone standing up paying their tribute. Not sure if you have been to Rome or not but it’s fantastic – obviously a tad too busy. Anyway as you know there are way too many things to see. One can easily spend an entire week there. Enjoy it albeit there won’t be a Serie a game this weekend.

Mahdi jan 2 bare sale no mobarak. Mamnoon az textet. Zemnan tashakor for the travel tips! We got bacl late last night. Loved Park Güell and generally really liked the city. Just the right size didn’t seem as busy and stressful as Rome and London yet one could sense the city buzz. It kind of reminded me of Florence. The game “luckily” went well. Unnecessarily nervy last few minutes I have to say. I was telling Dona, Mahdi will never forgive me if Barca don’t win tonight LOL so I was almost as tense as if Inter was playing hehe

1 maahe mikham behet begam ke in weekend darim ba D mirim Barcelona (Fri-Mon) ;-) Obviously when the trip was booked I made sure you guys have a home game. That was easy.... then there was a challenge of getting tickets for the Getafe game which I also managed to do from your website ;-) We will b sitting pretty much up in the sky vali khob that was the best face value prices we could get. Baraye haminam saal tahvilo dar Barcelona khahim bood! Jaato shadidan khaali mikonam! P.s if you know any nice and non touristy place/area let me know.

Thanks, was a good read indeed. You said it, the high def line scares most interisti. So it’ll be interesting to see how he handles our formation. Considering his background he does seem to be a classy guy – that said obviously his past isn’t exactly to my taste ;-) It will be interesting to see the Milan owned media (Berlusconi) will treat him. They gave him so much slack whilst in charge of Milan (even after our 4-0 hammering). He will be under immense pressure from start with not much mercy from the media. So it will be interesting to see how he handles the pressure on the beautiful side of Milano!
