Yeahhh, AAF were playing before Slayer or something so it was always gonna happen haha... the organisers really didn't think that booking through. I've seen Cradle of Filth too! It was at Ozzfest 2002 I think, it was weird because it was sunny all day apart from during their set in which it was the heaviest rain I've ever experienced in my life! So y'know... maybe God does actually hate them! Probably take a bit of rain over dodging gobstoppers throughout my set though, haha.

Skates is at Northumbria Uni SU on a Tuesday night, it's been around forever but it's usually pretty dead which is lame... maybe I'll keep spreading the word about it on last.fm until it starts filling up! Hahaa... seeing Chico at such a random venue must have been a dream come true. I saw Tenacious D at Leeds Fest in 08, they were awesome, shame they tour so rarely. And I saw Alien Ant Farm at Leeds Fest 2003, but they got bottled so I was a 13 year old fanboy and got really pissed off at all the 25+ year old metalheads bottling them haha. traumatised child </3

Sumo and Skates at Northumbria Uni are probably the only places that play ska, both awesome! I've got no idea what I'm doing for NYE, probably just go to a house party or something seen as town will be insanely busy. I've deexed your 'bands seen live list' and it's pretty good! thing that I'm by far the most envious of though is the fact you've MET Chico? hahahaa... amazing.

yeaah, Sunderland is good if you ignore your surroundings 90% of the time and the local people 100% of the time... :] Independent is probably my favourite place in Sundazz, they have a new night called Sumo on Fridays which plays awesome punk/ska/rock <3 70 quid to get home is harsh!... I guess one advantage of living close to home is that it's 4 quid for me on the metro!

A 2 litre bottle of Jager sounds amazing! you'd probably like a night out in Sunderland... £1 for a Jagerbomb! just a shame the music scene sucks so bad so I always have to gan yem to Newcastle for gigs! do you come back to Toon often then?

You like Whitley Bay? haa...I didn't realise there was anything to like about it tbh. I guess Seashells is a damn good chippy, but that's about it! At least Oxford is aesthetically pleasing.. more than I can say for Sunderland! Although it is crazy cheap, 80p vodka + mixers is the main reason I haven't switched to another University yet! :D insanely cheap drink is probably also why I'm underachieving on my course though, haha. oh dear.

Ohhhhh, come to think of it Oxford probably don't even do our type of courses haa... assholes! I was born and raised in Wallsend until I finished at Readsdale first school, then I moved to Whitley Bay and my family have lived there ever since! Howay the Bayy! Do you like Oxford then? I've never been, but it looks nice from what I've seen.
