I typed this up for other people who might want to Scrobble blueheronradio.fm/‎ (Blue Heron plays traditional Japanese music) It should also work for others. It took more than expected but if you still want to scrobble...

I'm using Windows vista but this might work for newer versions. Lastly forgive any spelling or grammar issues.

First sign up here http://www.mysqueezebox.com/index/Home

You'll need to download Logitech Media server.

Once it downloads sign in.

Now look your windows toolbar you should have a little icon in the corner indicating that the media server is running. Right click, open web control. A page will open that looks like a web player. In the bottom right corner there will be a little icon that says settings, click that.

You should have another page with a bunch of differnet little tabs. Go to Plugins. Make sure audio scrobbler is checked. Click settings for that. Sign into your last fm. Make sure both the options listed say yes.

Also go to the mysqueezebox tab, make sure you are signed in. Apply.

Now go to the tab that says player. If you haven't used this service before it should say no players detected. It will say that you can use Itunes or some other players. It will also mention Squeezebox.

Close the page with the server on it.

I'm using Sqeezeplay (desktop version of Squeezebox) for this tutorial, I couldn't get other players to work maybe you can (which you can get here: http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/index.php?ver=7.8) it's the first one.

Start that up. Once you finish the set up

Should be something similar to this.

Scroll to the app gallery option. Click that it will give you apps to download. Pick the shoutcast one install it or whatever.

Also While in squeezeplaye, go to your settings, advanced last fm and make sure your name is checked.

Open up the media server again, going into the settings and back to player.

It should now look like this

Now close it.

Back on squeezeplay, go to your Shoutcast app. Search for blue heron radio. It should appear. Click on it and you should be done.

I hope this helps.

Hey, thank you for this guide! I got a long way, but seem to have run into some trouble along the way. For one thing, I could not find a last.fm app in the app gallery on MSB. I did find and install the Shoutcast one. Also, even after installing Squeezeplay (which looks a lot like the Logitech Media Server I downloaded earlier on, is this correct?), I couldn't get the online player to recognize my player. It said to check if my network settings were correct and then to refresh the page. However, in Squeezeplay, I found no option related to network settings. I tried to search for Squeezeplay online, thinking that the url in the guide may have expired (even though the tutorial isn't that old) and found another program called "UE Music Library", which again looks a lot like the Logitech Media Server, although this time with a different skin and some other minor differences, but got the same issue there. Eventually I tried to connect with iTunes directly, and now a player was recognized and all sorts of settings were possible, so I figured I was on the right track. I could also select my account here on Last.fm in the settings under the "player" tab. However, the problem is that I can't find the radio I'm looking for, since for some reason, under "My Apps", Shoutbox is not found -- it only offers "App Gallery", as if I have none installed. All the same, if I login on MySqueezeBox.com and look for my apps, Shoutbox is given there. I'll keep trying, but if you could give me any help at all, it would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, it used to be Logitech media server as far as I know...hmmm. That's strange...

Perhaps if I posted screenshots of exactly how I did it (Which I should have posted in the first place, I was supposed to oops) that would help more. I'm surprised that you got it to recognize Itunes though cause I couldn't get it to do it. Also sorry for the late reply, just saw the comment by chance, last.fm didn't mail me or anything (doh!)

I've also noticed a few errors in my writing which is probably the problem in the first place...

Don't worry about replying late or being unclear or anything, you were just blogging this to be helpful in the first place, right? It's appreciated. I'm sure screenshots would indeed be very helpful! Did you post/upload them yet anywhere?
