You may also like Yo La Tengo, they put out some good stuff from what I've heard, I think there's actually a free LastFM download of one of their songs. I also always VERY highly recommend Andrew Bird, especially his new album, [album]Noble Beast[/album]. Andrew Bird's Bowl of Fire is another great choice! Hope that helps!
