    I agree.. The RAA hands down was the biggest surprise.. Not just because it was a great album. But, how their unique style grew the depth needed to take them as seriously as they deserve... Not sure about the Daze album.. was it silent plant? The biggest surprise for me was The Strokes.... I am still digesting what they threw at us. The funny thing is how pissed off I was when I heard Machu Picchu the first time. I was like "aaaaah turn it off!!" and literally last weekend I heard it in San Francisco and three minutes into it when Julien screams I thought "holy shit!! play it again!!" I guess you just never know... Transience.. Its a muthafucka
