i have come to the conclusion that the majority of users on last.fm don't really like to recommend music online to strangers, so, i am taking the habit of listening to random people's loved and radio station, one person at a time. you can find the users i stalk and my favorite song from what i hear from them in my journal entitled "stalking last.fm".

I have the 5th generation ipod nano, my thoughts on such a device? to quote myself on a recent shout to someone:

"i feel like the nano is an aging rock god. it's branching off to do different things that appeals to the masses. while i'm in the background being a piss-ant yelling "you used to be about the music!""

yeah, i am an egotistical jerk, quoting myself like that.

when my scrobbles are on and off it's because in betwixt that time i'm searching for more music online. some of my favorite destinations are:

Pandora.com - it has a fine line of recommending terrible things or hidden gems
Musicovery.com - has a unique manner in customizing the search of discovering new music.
Emusic.com - contains a lot of old, old school music and independent labels.
sabrosita590.net - radio station from mexico city. i usually listen to it at work. has some of the best songs i listened to when i was young. the new stuff they play isn't that bad either
erika.net - internet station, diverse mix of streaming music.
