as stated in my "about me" section, i am regularly going into random profiles and listening to people's loved tracks and library. the basic pattern goes as follows: i listen to 5-10 loved tracks, then 5-10 songs from the library, and then back to the loved tracks (5-10). the final piece to this exploration process is looking through the users library and finding an artist not available on last.fm and attaining a manner of listening to an album of the desired musician. the whole process has generally taken about 2-5 days. generally more tracks are listened to from a user if the playlist is diverse in genres. i know for a fact that the overall preferences of a user will not be precisely calculated in this manner, but with this approach what i am overall hoping is to find more artist by way of last.fm.

any song that i have interest in listening again and discovering more of the artist from this process is added to my discover playlist.
