The logos of Justice's DVNO video
3 Mar 2008, 21:16
While listening to Justice's Essential mix of the past 6th of October, a few songs kept spinning around in my head. One of them, I found out, was Justice's very own DVNO, full listen here:
DVNO (Radio Edit). And oh my is it addictive. I don't know how this didn't make it to my playlist just after buying Cross last year.
Today I saw the clip for DVNO, and it's a *bomb*. Eighties old-skool cgi television bumpers, brilliantly designed by So Me and brought to life by Machine Molle. *must have them on t-shirt*
Now it would be nice to have the complete list of logos/bumpers. I only recognized 2 (I'm not that old) but some quick googling revealed a few more. In order of appearance [updated]:
Suggestions are welcome!

23 Mar 2008, 16:18The beginning of Story Telling is the NBC peacock logo.
One More Time is loosely based on The Gong Show logo.
Ugly Boys & Girls is the PBS logo.
Cool is an allusion to the Audi rings.
Anyone Read/Anyone Feel is the Universal Studios logo.
The floating cross seems to be a tip to the laser effects used a lot in the 80s like the Rock with You video from Michael Jackson. -

23 Mar 2008, 22:42The Pinball might be the Nickelodeon bumpers that used to play in the early 80s.

SWEAT is also mixing the intro of the levels to the Sonic the Hedgehog game on the SEGA Genesis with the two ovals in the BG:

Can anyone read anyone feel is part of the Universal Studios theme park bumpers for (Orlando) Florida and Hollywood:

I think near the end of the HBO parody for the DVNO logo, it's also using a Back To The Future animation, but I can't seem to find it. -

4 Apr 2008, 21:33Isn't the film-in-the-canister animation what you see when you're in an AMC movie theater? It might be that sort of stock pre-movie footage. Not quite sure, though. -

28 Apr 2008, 16:10There is a logo between the 20th Century Fox one and the cross one. On the reel, there are the symbols that appear to be like this: /Δ\\\ (note that the Δ is not a full Delta, as it is not a Delta), which is supposed to be I am With the first / being I, the Δ being A and \\\ being M.
Just thought you should know. I realised that I had seen a similar logo to that before, but could not remember where.
