A friend of mine lives in San Jose (i know not quite the bay area), but I visited him last spring and we went to both San Fran and Monterey, both of which were superb! My only regret was not going a show of some sort, as I was (and still am) curious as to see how it compares to the music scene where I'm from. But hey maybe next time. And don't fret, even if your friends get sick of it, I (and some friends of mine who are also fans) still appreciate the input, as we all like music religiously. And lastly, I'm studying political science and film studies in school (I know, random haha)
