Asai Kenichi recently released his new solo project Shallow Well on HearJapan. It's absolutely amazing, thought you'd like to know about it: http://www.hearjapan.com/store/album_info/Shellby

hehe well, most of the scandinavian bands/artists i know sing in english, but their music is very unique... i'd definitely recommend you to listen to Anja Garbarek, she's norwegian, her best album has to be "balloon mood" ... simply amazing ! ... Stina Nordenstam is very good too, she can be a bit strange but i like that xD ... if you like something happier, then listen to säkert! ,she's from sweden (real name is annika norlin) and only released one album under that name, which is entirely in swedish... her other project is named "hello saferide" i think i'd also recommend "lau nau" (from finland, sings in finnish), which is kinda folk musik, but not very typical actually... but i think you might think it's nice ^^ hanne hukkelberg is from norway and she's very good too well, give those artists a listen and tell me what you think ^^ bis dann !
