Ha- you're right on it being appropriately named BS. It does just feel really rushed. It's growing on me, I suppose, but it's not like his other albums. There's so much filler- so many songs that I actually skip, which is rare for me with a John Mayer album. So sad.

Saw your shout in the John Mayer box. Gotta say I agree with you- for the most part, I'm not digging Battle Studies as much as I hoped I would. It's really sad to me. I think it's better than Heavier Things, but not even remotely as good as Continuum. I mean, it's not a BAD album, per se...just not as good as I thought I would be. Maybe if Mayer didn't spend so much time cavorting with Jennifer Aniston, he would've produced a studier album :(
