I've been going through his back catalogue of recent times too (my last fm stats are often inaccurate as my modded xbox is logged on and my girlfriend and house mate both use it, while I use my mp3 player most often) - Here come the warm jets and tracks like 'Baby's on fire' are what I keep going back to listen to again. How can one man be at just the right place at just the right time so often in the history of popular music?

    karate (and secret stars and farina's solo stuff; heard his name bandied about a lot but never took the plunge), ida, sun city girls, the black heart procession (saw them open for modest mouse a couple of times; i was intrigued by them but never pursued them any further), kind of like spitting, carissa's wierd. i feel like i should probably be better versed in calexico, also. so much music, so little time. and money. and hard drive space.
