No-no, drinking tea in hot summer is exactly right thing to do ;) It's cool whether it's hot or cold drink.

*howls softly* I am sorry my friend, too much on my mind and barely any time for even myself.. Hope you have been well and that everything is fine.

I've been thinking that to do something like what they did is impossible, but trying to get as close as I can to something unusual may be the best thing.

I hope to be able to do something similar in some way. My ideas might seem too ambitious. I don't really want to be in a band of a particular genre, but just in a band of music, open to any kind of genre from death metal to rap, blues to (neo-)classical. But I don't want it to sound like a mess of different sounds; it must be cohesive somehow.

And The Beatles have gone straight up to my top three and I expect them to pass Elton John eventually.

The fourth one is just one person, but I have not yet listened to the whole album properly. I will have to do it soon. It seems interesting enough.

I'm well, listening to some new music. I bought a few albums "today", from Creedence Clearwater Revival, Led Zeppelin, Eagles, and Bat for Lashes.

I didn't say that I used external software, I use iTunes and the official Last.FM scrobbler. From the PC it works as it is expected, like WinAmp does. From the iPod it would be OK if one uses iTunes AutoSync Feature. But I don't use it, since I can't choose albums or single songs with it, just Artist or Playlists. Manual sync fucks up quite often when it comes to LastFM. Used external software before, on my rockboxed Sandisk Sansa e200, which worked like a charm. Even scrobbled the right order, unlike iTunes. Program was called QTScrobbler. Other MTP players have Zenses, which works quite OK too. What makes me angry is that the iPod is quite expensive compared to other players.

About Me

Welcome

Come in Peace :: Stay in Peace :: Go in Peace

As always, the choice is yours

My name is Squirel. Don't ask, it's a long story. :P The one thing I can tell you quickly (so you don't fall aseep with boredom), is that my name has nothing to do with furry little squirrels, even though I have adopted one as my avatar. But he's a cute little guy and we've been a part of each other for a long time.

I love music. To me, music is like air - very difficult to survive without it. I have a radio on all day at work and I have my music playing as soon as I get home - and it stays on all night and doesn't stop until I leave for work the next morning. I like a large range of music too. It would take less time to list the genres I don't like than to list those that I do. Since becoming more involved with last.fm and the people and groups on it, I have discovered even more. I love it.

I am not an elitist. I listen to what I like simply because I like it. I listen to what I haven't heard before to see if I like it. Music is as individual as the people who make it and listen to it. Everyone has their own tastes and the differences in music and the people who listen to it should be celebrated and not ridiculed. If we were all the same colour, had the same religion, spoke the same language, had the same values and listened to the same music this world of ours would be a very dull and boring place.

So no matter who you are, where you are from, regardless of your beliefs, your likes or dislikes ... you are welcome here.

Best wishes

Squirel (Mike)
