About Me

I'm a painter and audio-video artist. On last.fm I have something in the region of 42 albums of audio art which I sometimes inaccurately describe as 'music'. These are at:
http://www.last.fm/music/Peter-David+Smith

and

http://www.last.fm/music/Speculativism
plus some collaborative work such as Hazy Boogie Two
and another music project called Cyborg Jazz at:
http://www.last.fm/music/Cyborg+Jazz
I'm currently writing two books, one of which is appearing gradually on the web as I post each chapter to blogger.
This book is called 'How I Came To Be' and Volume One can be found at: http://how-i-came-to-be.blogspot.com/

I ceased being a vegetarian and became a vegan in 1989. I was a vegan for 14 years and then, in 2003, made the decision that eating free range eggs would be: (a) not cruelty (b) not unhealthy and (c) helping by joining the general movement of society away from the cruelty of battery farms. My current diet and lifestyle is the same as vegan except for the addition of free range eggs and honey. Support Europe's "Big Move". http://action.ciwf.org.uk/ea-campaign/clientcampaign.do?ea.client.id=119&ea.campaign.id=9103

Musically, my library at last.fm contains something to offend every conceivable taste.
