Great taste in music. I must admit, at times I almost feel as if I'm inadvertently/accidentally cyberstalking you between stumbling across your contributions on Lyric Wiki and misc. other things like the re-constriction archive as I research bands and music (thanks for your work btw). So I gotta ask, are your copies of Better Days and Matrimonial Blood rips from myspace back in the day, or was there some promo or other form of release that I can't seem to find?

hey Ryan, hope you are all good! yep its been quiet lol! I have a 4 month old baby boy so thats been keeping me more than amused. Jim doesn't want to tour the album so no gigs, we have a label in the US that is going to be re-releasing both albums so there will be some new versions of tracks from the first album to look forward to. beyond that, who knows man! as it stands i don't think that there will be another VP album. its soooo hard to do financially and without wishing to bleat on about how poor the music industry is, it is hard to make any impact when your new album gets plastered all over the internet the day of its release. it just makes it hard to cover your costs unfortunately. never say never though, maybe I start a new project.....stay in touch though dude, the best place is the Facebook page www.facebook.com/victorypill if there is anything new i will hit you up mate. have a great christmas mate, all the best and thank you for your support!

oh yeah, the lyrics for the new album are on the digital edition on itunes, along with a pdf booklet with all the lyrics and full album info. So you wont have the problem in the future! that is if you like the new album enough to want to know the lyrics !!

Oh, well, I'm not too sure about what it is that (in my opinion) makes his stuff so good. It just strikes me as very original - down to earth and (socio-)realist while still being very "science fantasy". And his dialogue is really great too. But more than that, I think the books are intelligent - especially "The City & The City" of course, with all the metaphysical stuff, but it's there in his other books too... Or in short: his books are really good ;)

Hey, I figured since you're an author and into industrial and rusty (:P) stuff - have you read China Miéville's "The City & The City"?
