Is there newish film soundtracks you've listened to lately? I see you are still enjoying the Soul Surfer score. Did you know AnnaSophia Robb is in The Carrie Diaries (some prequel to Sex and the City)?

Don't even think there is a release of Mass Effect 3's soundtrack yet. Wasn't it meant to be composed by Clint Mansell?

Someone else told me about Deus Ex but this was before a proper soundtrack was released. I may well have to check it out now. My listening habits haven't changed much these past few months…I've listened to a few new things.

I've only heard that one popular theme from Star Trek (Enterprising Young Men), so don't think I am in any way going to try and compare it. I've always found with Giacchino, I can only truly appreciate his scores once I've seen the movie (definitely with Let Me In - very unwelcoming score if you're listening to it without having first seen the movie imo).With Super 8, it was a lot easier this time to get into before seeing the movie (movie/score is fairly good by the way). There's a lot of filler tracks amongst the main standout themes, though. Letting Go is the theme that really shines from this score, although you can check out a few of the themes put into the Super 8 Suite. His themes are a homage to some of the John Williams scores a few decades back. There's also one theme from one of the young actors.

There's 6 more tracks released officially from Playdead. The game is great...maybe a bit on the short side, though. Should be on Steam soon I think.

118 plays of Limbo soundtrack? I am impressed. This is my favourite from the game (this was on the recent soundtrack).

Just noticed the PM! Some reason the Last.fm e-mails are not coming through for a while (they usually come through pretty much instantly after someone has sent me a PM). Franka Potente - I haven't seen her in much...she was in one of the Bourne movies I think but this role of hers was great. I like "Believe" from her on it.
