Sad about your journal! I did actually get a chance to just peek at it and it was a good one :) I can't even recall what songs were already discussed or posted... I listened to my 3:43 short list earlier today...also got to read your shout in my email before that was deleted too! Yes, what I read about how the Grant Hart show should go down sounded appealing plus the venue is really close and it's super cheap...but it's still a maybe. There's actually 2 things going on that night I want to do :) The other event is apparently not significant enough to necessitate a last.fm event though...

Yes, I lost a journal entry about a month ago and no, it hasn't magically re-appeared yet. After the staff comments about "maybe in the next day or so", I'll see what happens by this weekend, and then maybe grump to the people who have specifically asked to be informed about missing posts. Good luck getting yours back.

Thanks for stopping by and the compliment. I got burned out on most classic rock and alternative a decade or so ago and delved into the world of alt-country/blues and americana where it seems all the true musical geniuses sought refuge! Love your tags, those seem worth exploring.... cheers and hope you enter the New Year ready to rock.

About Me

The facts we hate...

It's so sad to see the world agree that they'd rather see their faces filled with flies, all when I want to keep white roses in their eyes.

Butterfly, there's only so much wine you can drink in one life and it will never be enough to save you from the bottom of your glass.

Who will mourn the passing of my heart? Will its little droppings climb the pop chart? Who'll take its ashes and, singing, fling them from the top of the Brill Building?

I'm afraid that no one around here comprehends my potato.

...we'll never meet.

This was my band: Sleepy Company
