Love Laura Veirs too - saw her at the Junction a few months ago, she was excellent. And I've just remembered I wrote a review of her not so long ago too! http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/reviews/zjqv

Hola! Honestly?... I wasn't so keen. I feel like it's really self-aware... I dunno. I might change my mind. I often do. He reminds me of David Ford. And David Ford annoys me for the same reason. Tom M has an amazing voice, amazing amazing, and I love it - but there's something about it that's a bit faux-angst - kind of prefer the naivity of Nick Drake or the weirdness of Tom Malmquist. But like I say, that might change. And this from the girl who's listening to Red Dress by the Sugababes... Ignore me.

No worries, just when we catch up at some stage is fine. Hehe, meaning we're not out of the title race by October :o) We'll sort out drinks, let me know how you're fixed.

I've bought the first album - will listen to it on the commute tomorrow, thanks so much for the recommendations, really appreciate it. One other thing - has your mate bought Backstreet Boys tickets? ;-)

Hi mate, took the liberty of booking the BB tickets, just need to get a bit more familiar with all the back catalogue in the meantime :-)

About Me

My blog: Life's a bit like this...

I work in the world of internet - which doesn't mean I'm particularly savvy, nor am I a total geek. I guess I probably fall between the two stools somewhere. Aside from work, I have a great and wonderful girfriend, two beautiful daughters and spend my non-work time trying not to stress out about life. Funnily enough, listening to music helps!
