This is beyond a joke now, chaps. When are you going to stop winning so your big brother can leapfrog you in the league?

I really like your charts and that they reminded me that Venetian Snares exists, however I'm a little appalled that you have such a negative opinion of Nicola Roberts.

I myself was a living example of a closed minded metal head at one point; I thought anything that wasn't grim of "kvlt" wasn't worth listening to. It just takes a little perspective to crack an unwillingness to accept the vastness of the self and expression. Like you said, there are many moods music creates, and wny limit the value or experience of those feelings by excluding them from a musical "diet". I love how James Blake uses his voice as layers, it builds and builds until the climax of the song. Considering he is tagged as "dub-step" goes to show how genres blend and bleed into the melting pot and it doesn't even matter at the end.

If you're not interested in his previous stuff then Bad As Me might not interest you either. As a fan, I'm quite enjoying the album -- especially the opener "Chicago."

http://www.flickr.com/photos/water-surrounds-me/sets/72157628066451648/ that one should work. Yeah, couldn't have hoped for a better set really :) there're quite a few youtube videos circling around now. Although they were ALL incredible, my highlights would have to be Prelude, Chocobo Theme (<- possibly the best), Eyes On Me, The Opera, and the 1-3 medley. Best night of my life :]
