Hi Rob, great selection of artists. Found you via Stonephace page. What a great album that is! I also love Quantic in all his forms. I guess you must rip all your CD's to the pc - do you convert your vinyl? Sadly i'm too lazy to do this and download instead or use Spotify. Keep listening!

About Me

I don't do the download thing...I own everything on either Vinyl or CD - music is too precious to be relying on a hard drive.

I am genre blind - arbitrary categories serve no purpose.
As Ice T said: I feel sorry for anybody who only listens to one form of music.

I collect anything involving Tru Thoughts Recordings, Quantic and Portishead.

Everything else I simply enjoy.

My "favourites" change on a daily basis, but here are a few constants:
Portishead, Quantic, Alice Russell, anything on Tru Thoughts Recordings, Breakin' Bread Records, Wah Wah 45s, Desco, Soul Fire, BGP or Daptone Records, Beth Orton, Spiritualised, Boards of Canada, Massive Attack, Marvine Gaye, The Meters, Otis Redding, DJ Shadow, People Under The Stairs, James Brown, Bobby Byrd, Kings Of Convenience, Lateef, Quannum, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, The Smiths, Wu-Tang, Modern Funk, and 60's Soul/Funk.

Currently going through a major phase of diggin' for New Funk, Brazil-ification, Rare Funk and Northern Soul and discovering all sorts of cool if odd things like Ethiopian & Nigerian Funk.
