quote: " Yes, more bowie backing vocals [correct me if wrong]. Dundee -- "Lust for Life" has been used in a few commercials, not this song.... a cruise line, and maybe a car commercial. Good for him, the money's in commercials, not album sales. Why does he look more healthy and alive than fans a third his age, WHY?? Husker Du's "warehouse" equated to Kiss Alive II? Ouch. I mean, Zen Arcade is my favorite too, but "Warehouse" is a fine example of power pop if you're not expecting anything from the Husker Du name. I'm just saying... and I'm just a jerk who argues with strangers on the internet over pointlessness. :) I just felt I had to defend "Warehouse" because it was the first album of theirs I heard as a hardcore kid, and I liked it enough to dig deeper. Soft spot in my heart and all that. Just ignore this if you want.

I do like Roy Wood, "Message From The Country" by The Move is brilliant, and "No Answer" by E.L.O. has a couple of good moments. Right now I prefer those to his solo stuff, but I should listen to that copy of "Boulders" I got at a rock'n'swap again and see if it grows on me. And btw I am seriously stoked to see Mission Of Burma do "VS" all the way through. That's one of my favorite albums...
