Will do, it's nice to know there's a Nujabes fan in class with me.<3 not to mention the National and Explosions in the sky.

YES!! The dummies at the Mac store couldn't do it but my stepdad (who, granted, is a computer guy, but knows nothing about macs!!) could!! I CALL BULLSHIT. But it's ok because I have everything back so whatever.

Your brother sounds like a pretty smart guy, he definitely understands how proper movie-making works. A lot of people just talk about actors, directors, and writers as if they're seperate entities but without each one contributing to each other, we're just left with a big pile of mediocre shit instead of anything of actual value. I can understand the feeling of giving up something because you don't feel like your work is really standing out at the moment, I used to write poetry and I thought I was really good at it but the more I read from others and the more I looked over my own work...it just felt really weak and novice after I had had so much pride in it previously. Sorry for the super late response, college has been kicking my ass lately and I barely have any energy to do anything these days >_>

It's kind of ridiculous how everyone loves dubstep now, it's apparently the new default electronic genre. I'm not a huge, huge fan of it because most of it that people tend to like sounds generic as hell but there are a couple of dubstep artists I like. Check out Burial when you get some time, he's like the Nujabes of the genre in some ways. Thanks, it's nice to hear someone say film isn't a worthless thing to want to pursue these days. My favorite genre of film is usually Psychological Thrillers/Horror but I can really appreciate anything as long as its well made. I kind of want to experiment around with everything, I have a lot of influences and I feel like just sticking with one genre would get dull for me personally. I'd like to keep audiences on their toes when a new work of mine is finished. I actually checked your site and your Tumblr earlier, your work is fantastic. I used to be really into photography myself but I was nowhere near your level.

I appreciate the suggestions, I keep a list of suggestions that people give me and eventually get to everything. I really like The Story of My Life by Astronautalis but haven't listened to anything else by him. Definitely will change that though. I'm pretty much dependent on Last.fm to find people with great tastes to talk with music about, most of my friends in person have pretty lame tastes sadly.

You have really interesting tastes, just dropping by to say I like your charts a lot and I'll probably be looking through them for some new music.

About Me

I'm Kira, a 21-year old amateur photographer/trapeze artist. I listen to a weird mix of hip-hop, Japanese indie, folk music, & classic punk. I wouldn't have it any other way!
