    yesterday afternoon
Tjenare. Mvh Olof.

we come to Gridlock, which released The Synthetic form on label in the states Pendragon. year late 90's (long after Ae). this first record was very significant for industrial music VERY emotional text with much deep space and drums. Gridlock start transformation after this record. It wasn't until Further that gridlock began to sound (similar) to the intelligent techno or Ae etc. and they did this well and kept their own sound. to me Gridlock cannot hold a candle to Ae HOWEVER gridlock are extremely good. i love the album traces and some of the earlier works very much. as i say, i listened for MAANY years to those cds but i have not scrobbled them much as you see. times have changed for me musically, but i will never sell the cd's/vinyl. i used to dj industrial type music when i lived in the states. that and techno noise music. i have calmed a lot from harsh voice and noise since a few years, but i love a 'dark' sound even now. i hope i quench your curiosities. what about your opinion?

good question. i have an answer. to understand this you must have had understanding of early 90's intelligent techno revolution (Warp boom, etc) already a fan of AphexTwin, i had my ears set to this sound i could not describe then i order a compilation titled Artificial Intelligence this track, The Egg was produced by a duo called Autechre. since this time i have been following these two. there was NOTHING like them. even today i admire their approaches and philosophy with creating music and how successful they are BECAUSE of not making rules and setting borders as to how a following album (or drum hit or synth or sequence OR TEMPO should sound (or look). i remember after EVERY album release people complain so much about how it sounds (LOL). yet year later it is played eveywhere underground. they also mention this in their interviews. it was a time. it was a sound and concept and computer animation music. it will be vital to me until my dying day, esp the first albums.

yes, i used to be noisier some years ago and even a lot of EBM. so much so that i own converter shock front in the steel plates because i ordered it on the day of it's release. also have a lot of hymen vinyl...etc. have all gridlock cds and vinyl as well..even live traces and the floppy disc 5.25. yes the production was early in their career but it is quite f'in' hypnotic in earphones even today. you see, i just don't scrobble a lot of the noisier items in my collection. i still listen from,... time to time, but i am finding so much nice high-tech music thru great online shops like boomkat, juno etc. oh, and i will give that music of yours a run. i want to be in the right set of mind. perhaps sun eve. we'll see. you bet, i am open source. the software i use for my user graphix is open source as well. i am doing "music" as a hobby too but i am so critical on myself. we will see what turns up. :¬)

hi Christoffer! the code is referred to as qr-code. it is a form of barcode capable of many uses. i do not know any software to download to make or decode them, but i found a website somewhere online where i was able to create one and decode others. i looked for a bookmark just now, but i am unfortunately able to locate it. i believe i was using another computer at the time. it is quite common in the world of logistics and advertisement to see codes of this nature. it is a convenient method for them to store information. i think there are mobile phone softwares that can read these codes and take a 'shopper' to shopping websites or such when they are found in magazine or in ads. i just noticed that you are making music. i will have to listen sometime. and yes you can do whatever you wish with anything you find on my profile. it is nice to create these small atmospheres to join the music. regards!

ok i see it now. impressive! nice collection you have amassed here. thanks for the comment, by the way. i enjoy doodling under the influence of waves. i have not archived these online anywhere and so far i have never made anything larger than these icons believe it or not. i started something that i am only happy with 3 of that is screen-sized. it is called nightlight and i am trying to make nice patterns for eyes while listening to music at night. i will put that collection up when is complete. i have to browse your extensive picasa gallery later. quite nice

well, now that i think about it it was not a video that it reminded me of. it was an album cover to one of his EP's or something, but i cannot put my finger on which one it is. i was not able to see your google photo gallery with that link. who is the photographer that took the picture? it looks quite modern indeed, yet i am not certain what is happening in the picture.

Brought to life on the small island Gotland, which ain't populated by the most musically open minded people on earth perhaps.

Male.. this scene is rather dominated by the male sex, which is very sad,
Christina Sealey of Orphx and Andrea Börner of
Morgenstern is grandeus female names and i hope there'll be much more successful female producers, and listeners..

though living in a freaking clean and safe surrounding; i carve for distopic media, being closer to agriculture than coal mining; i still adore the structures of wast rusting limestone smashers, i guess I'll always long for perspective.

without the right music in my ears every now and then, i get deeply depressed, for example; my job at an airport, it ain't serving other than the well shewed Swedish pop that people always hear on the radio. it damage me in the longterm if i can't go home, log on to my terminal, plug in my headphones and just adore the masters of digital rhythms and rusting beauty.

bit of a personal goal is to be as open minded as possible to everything, yet i can not deny it's hard not to despise some peoples taste of media, they have never tried to dig deeper into anything, just enjoying what's served. never even trying to interest them self in new sensations..

but everything is comprehended when your reaching ages of mine and beyond, of course i understand why people think noise is abrasive, it's noise after all, even if it is so bloody tasty.

I relay rely enjoy sharing my music taste with anyone dumb enough to listen, so if you're interested don't wait to ad me on msn [by: christoffer_aka_konstruktor@hotmial.com] or send me an digital hint here and I'll sample you some high quality noise.
